  great service fantastic meals, our favorite place was gunna stay for the weekend but the rooms were booked out, hopefully next visit

  Fantastic accommodation, right on the marina, you can gaze at the beautiful yatchs (that most of us could never afford). Recently updated, everything clean and new. Great for families as there is a kitchen with a dishwasher and clothes washing facilities. The added benefit to staying here is a short walk to the Tavern for a drink and food on their outside deck watxhing the boats come in and you can also walk to the Leisure Centre for a swim, spa, sauna, slide and gym.

  The hotel part is fantastic, but, the suites are showing their age and the hazards of a saltwater environment are evident. Even with a makeover inside and out the old flaws are still evident. Lifted skirting boards, water affected walls, unfinished carpentry in the bedroom. A lick of paint and new carpet cannot hide everything. Service and hospitality is A1.

  We stayed in one of the deluxe suites at the Marina Hotel. Very spacious, comfortable and quiet. Well equipped but no toaster (to avoid burning toast and the subsequent fire alarm).
  Picturesque surroundings and a very nice bar and restaurant area nearby.
  Ample parking is available on a first in best dressed situation.
  We really liked our stay here

  We've come to Eyre Peninsula from interstate and had meals at other hotels and cafes in the area, which have been great with really good service. I was excited about a marina seafood basket, it was very poor quality and the service was aggressive, late Sunday night and the staff seemed to not want to be there. I hope it improves next time if I ever eat there again. Really disappointing as it is such a great location, it should be an icon for South Australia but failed miserably.
